Okay, I'm back. Currently working on surviving my 30th year on this planet.
I started my MAT Secondary Education (History) just over two weeks ago, and I'm finding it incredibly useful. Regardless of this usefulness, I am finding the reading material frustrating. I've worked in schools making less than minimum wage (divide sub pay of $56 a day by 8 hours as most subs don't get a lunch break due to budget cuts), and I have rarely had a problem with the kids. It's almost always problems with the lesson or lack of resources. I think I'm going to start using this blog as digestion for my reading...will keep you posted.
